Happy birthday to us!

Two years ago we started this band and we didn't know what to expect!
We started writing songs for the EP called "Warning Agony Way" not even having a guitarist in the band, just had a bunch of songs and the will to record a cd!
This cd (physically available in 350 copies) was also available in a free-download version for the internet...
3000 people downloaded it! Thank you!
We played lots of shows, placed our stickers in every corner of our city and changed a member of the line up!
In the past months we recorded our first album called FOR RENT, now we're waiting for the mixing and mastering process then you'll be able to listen to it!
This is a THANK YOU to those who appreciate our music and those who spread the word about AGONY WAY.

Hola, è da un po' che non ci facciamo sentire. Le cose in studio stanno procedendo molto bene e ormai mancano solo più alcune parti della chitarra e la voce, poi si passerà al mixaggio e mastering.
Non abbiamo tenuto la registrazione che avevamo fatto a luglio (usandola quindi come pre-produzione) e abbiamo ri-registrato tutto, ora più sicuri e con le idee più chiare. L'album dovrebbe comunque essere pronto per fine anno.
Abbiamo una data prevista per venerdì 28 novembre al Padiglione 14 di Collegno con The Last Banned e Rollercoaster. Speriamo di vedervi li per farvi sentire i nostri nuovi brani in anteprima!

Hi!! We're finishing the album and we're recording the guitars with Mauri right now. Next step (next week) are the vocals.
We have a show scheduled for November 28th in which we'll play lots of our new songs! Don't miss it!

We'd like to say a huge welcome to Mauri, our new guitarist!
He used to play in the band False Realtà, we're so happy to have him in the band and we can't wait to play live with the new line-up!!!! You will soon be able to read something about him on the BAND page (as soon as we upload his info).
Concerning the album, we took a little break from the studio and we'll restart in the second half of September. The record will be ready for the end of 2008.
Siamo lieti di annunciarvi che abbiamo finalmente trovato il chitarrista, si tratta di Mauri (False Realtà, Still Road).
Non vediamo davvero l'ora di ricominciare con i live per poter suonare con la nuova formazione!
Ovviamente sulla pagina BAND del sito ci sarà anche la sua descrizione entro breve per cui ogni tanto fate un salto a vedere se è stata aggiornata.
Per quanto riguarda le registrazioni rientriamo in studio da metà settembre per continuare il lavoro che sarà pronto per fine 2008.

Siamo ancora vivi! Dopo una decina di giorni di vacanza in quel di Rimini rieccoci tornati per occuparci ancora dell'album! Il lavoro in studio finora ci soddisfa al 300% e non vediamo l'ora che sia pronto per farvelo ascoltare! Intanto con la mia videocamera sto filmando tutto quello che succede in studio e più avanti credo che monteremo tutto per fare una specie di making of del disco.
Mr. Z (Brandon Ashley & The Silverbugs, To Die To Sleep) sta registrando le parti di chitarra mentre noi stiamo pensando al futuro chitarrista della band e ad alcune altre novità che sveleremo presto...
Ah, abbiamo messo una piccola chatroom nella sezione stuff di questo sito e anche sul nostro myspace... Scriveteci!
We're still alive! The recording process is going awesomely and we're so happy and proud of the new songs! Mr. Z (Brandon Ashley & The Silverbugs, To Die To Sleep) is recording the guitar tracks for the record, in the meantime we're looking for an official guitarist.
I'm shooting tons of videos with my camera and I think we'll upload them as soon as we can. Diego and I thought about lots of news for the band during these holidays and we'll soon let you know what we're thinking about...
Anyway, you'll finally find a chatroom on the stuff section of this website as well as on our myspace profile. Write write write!

WE'RE RECORDING!!!!!!!! We're in the studio right now and I'm recording the drum tracks! The work is going great and we're so excited! I'm using my drums set and I'm really proud of it.

STIAMO REGISTRANDO!!!!!! Già già, sto registrando le parti di batteria! Il lavoro sta venendo figo e siamo molto felici! Quelli li sopra sono i pezzi che ho registrato finora (quelli con la X), domani finirò gli ultimi due pezzi e poi tocca a Poli col basso! Ho caricato sul mio myspace un filmato che abbiamo fatto in studio (precisamente in regia) e dal momento che il soggetto sono io, è molto demenziale... Un filmato per chi ha bisogno di ridere un pochino!!
....Cacca.

Abbiamo una bella notizia e una brutta notizia! Partiamo da quest'ultima: purtroppo ci tocca annullare il concerto del 4 luglio a Toceno (VB) e ci dispiace molto anche perchè siamo stati da quelle parti a marzo e ci eravamo divertiti davvero tanto, oltre ad aver conosciuto un sacco di bella gente che avrebbe voluto rivederci! Speriamo di recuperare al più presto e ci scusiamo con i Maybee Family che si sono occupati di tutta l'organizzazione.
La bella notizia è che fra pochi giorni ci chiuderemo in studio per registrare il nostro primo album For Rent per l'etichetta Fluidi Records. Saremo occupati per tutto luglio (per la registrazione) e settembre (per il mixaggio/mastering ecc...) e staremo quindi lontani dai palchi ancora per qualche mese, per poi tornare più carichi che mai con un nuovo chitarrista.

Bad news: we have to cancel our next concert (Youthfest - July 4th). Hope that we'll never have to do this again but we really can't make it to play that show, sorry!
We have good news too: our first album called For Rent will be recorded in July/September for the indie label Fluidi Records.
AGONY WAY is stronger than ever and will soon return on stage with a new guitarist and a kickass album!

Rieccoci tornati! In attesa di trovare un chitarrista ufficiale (Umberto non è più nella band) suoneremo due concerti con una formazione molto interessante. Alla chitarra infatti ci sarà Fabry (Tearsfall/Lust To Dust), nostro vecchio amico col quale abbiamo suonato per molti anni negli Hocksaw (se ne parla nella nostra biografia tra l'altro). Ci trovate qui:
giovedì 26 giugno - Ovesfest, Grugliasco (TO)
venerdì 4 luglio - Youth Fest 2, Toceno (VB)
Tutti i concerti saranno ad ingresso gratuito ed inizieranno alle ore 21.30.

While waiting for a new guitarist (Umberto is no longer in the band) we'll play two new shows with a dear friend as guitarist: Fabry.
He has played with us for a lot of years in the band Hocksaw when we used to play Green Day songs, and now we rent him from his band Lust To Dust/Tearsfall just for a bunch of concerts. Hope to see you there!!
